The T3 Shim Half Pad from Toklat’s T3 line of performance saddle pads is perfect for adjusting saddle fit while adding impact protection. The T3 Shim Pad with Impact Inserts is a great choice for a young horse that is growing and changing, one that is working on developing muscle, and older horses with topline changes. Excellent pad to have on hand if you’re a trainer or rider with multiple horses to ride. Each pad includes a set of 1/4″ felt shims that are ergonomically shaped to fit into three pockets in the front, middle, and rear of the pad. In addition, the pad is equipped with Pro Impact inserts for outstanding impact protection. Access to shims and inserts is a velcro opening along the spine of the pad.

PRO Impact is a super thin (just 5 mm), breathable, lightweight, high density foam called Poron XRD. This technical material conforms to the horse’s back and is flexible and protective, absorbing 90% of impact forces. Perforated for extra breathability and air circulation. Pro Impact inserts cushion and support while reducing shocks felt by the rider, too. The result is a smoother, more comfortably secure ride that’s easier on a rider’s back, knees, and hips. The exceptionally thin profile works perfectly with the shims, which are also thin, to ensure the pad is not bulky and maintains a proper, close contact feel.
