Ken McNabb Lifter Bit is a unique western shank bit that doesn’t work with leverage. The Lifter Bit from KenMcNabb and Weaver Leather applies pressure evenly to the horse’s mouth and poll. The jointed mouthpiece has a ring in the center with rolling rings attached. The Lifter Bit works more like a snaffle and makes an excellent transitional bit for horses moving toward a bridle. The bit is not too strong and the sweet iron assures good salivation and bit acceptance. It is recommended that riders do not use a curb strap with the Ken McNabb Lifter Bit.
